MS Teams now supports up to 5000 users for each team!

As part of the Office 365 message center announcement MC173385, Microsoft has announced that any new or existing team in Microsoft Teams now supports up to 5000 users doubling the previous supported limit of 2500 users. This change is going to help larger organizations use Teams for a larger variety of collaboration use cases and more than just projects or departments. To support these change Microsoft also increased the e-mail distribution list import limit to 3,500 from 300.

Starting April 1, Microsoft is no longer providing capability to restrict your SharePoint Online tenant to only classic mode for lists & libraries

This week Microsoft published communication via MC172925 in the message center that they are removing the capability to opt-out of the modern lists & library capability at the tenant level. This was communicated in the SharePoint community blog by Chris McNulty in early January. Previously you were able to opt-out of modern lists and libraries for your tenant from the SharePoint Admin Center. Microsoft is effectively nudging organizations who are avoiding making the change to the vastly better modern experience….
